|There is a beautiful indoor tea/dining room and also outdoor seating on the terrace, some of which is under cover.The tea room menu is available to non-residents and residents throughout the week on most days. The tea room offers morning coffee, pots of tea, light lunches, refreshments and those infamous Cream Teas. Traditional home-made soups, bread, cakes and of course scones are also available.

|The cottage and grounds enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside and occupies a unique position tucked away beside the River Derwent and the Cromford Canal, which is designated a site of special interest for wildlife. There are an abundance of many interesting walks nearby and it is a few minutes’ walk from the Heritage Way.
